VMD Systems Integrators, Inc. Among U.S. Navy Winners of the SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Contract

Vienna, VA — The U.S. Navy has selected VMD Systems Integrators, Inc. among the winners for the SeaPort-e multiple award competitively solicited IDIQ contracts.

The latest award comprises 22 multiple functional mission areas. The scope of the contract’s task orders will provide support to the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research, DTRA, and the U.S. Marine Corps.

VMD is eligible to provide support in Zone 2 (National Capital Zone) and Zone 3 (Mid Atlantic Zone) focusing on the mission-critical areas of research and development; engineering; system engineering and process engineering support; system design documentation and technical data support; software engineering; development; programming and network support; configuration management support; quality assurance (QA) support; information system development; information assurance, and information technology support; program support; and functional and administrative support.

SeaPort-e allows the Navy to solicit for and contract professional services electronically. The portal provides both small and large contractors a simplified, efficient and effective means of responding to solicitations competitively. SeaPort-e currently has nearly 85% of its contract holders as small businesses.
